I have a few partitions with different OSs version in it (Windows 7, Windows 8 for example) and I would like to know if there is any way that different comicrack installations could use the same database (same version of course)

I am a bit tired of backuing up in one and restoring in the other every time I change the OS

You can modify the icon you are using to start comicrack to point it to the same database file. just add -db [path to your ComicDb.xml]. Target in the icon's properties should be something like this:
"C:\Program Files\ComicRack\ComicRack.exe" -dp "C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\cYo\ComicRack\ComicDb.xml"

You can set this option also into comicrack.ini

On the other hand, backing up the database often is a good idea anyway...
