How do you guys use "Alternate Series or Story Title" vs. "Story Arc?"
I am currently reading every Marvel Superhero comic book every printed, in chronological order, and blogging about the milestones, footnotes, and other interesting moments I read at http://www.wraithscomicjourney. I'll be adding DC when I hit 1985, and other companies when they launch.

For me "Story Arc" is used for arcs that are contained in a single series. I use "Alternate Series" for any arcs that crossover between multiple books. This could be big company crossovers like Original Sin or smaller ones like Age of X. The Alternate Series helps with multiple book crossovers because you can number them separately in reading order. This way of sorting also helps with books that have their own story arc while also being within a major crossover.
