If I move a lot of my comics to different directories than they are now and where comic rack expects them to be how will that impact comic rack? Will it realize the new location and simply point the thumbnails etc in the smartlists and whatnot to the new location? Or will I end up with my entire collection seen as new items and the whole collection in it's previous location as they are seen now but missing the file? I have more than a few hundred items shown in the already read smartlist and it would be a huge pain to go through my whole collection post changing their directories to mark them all as already read. So I wanted to check before I proceeded with moving everything f anyone had done this or similar to find out what I can expect. Thanks.

Library Organizer. It will move the files to new directories and update comicrack at the same time.

I assume this is an addon for comicrack? Also if the files are already moved will it be able to do the later part of updating comicrack?

For books already moved the easiest thing to do would be to use <Right Click>Automation - Search and Replace on the File Path within Comicrack.

If you are moving files around manually I would recommend the 'Move eComics' script which makes sure the files stay linked.

If you always move files into logical folders then indeed the Library Organiser script is the way to go in the long run.

By on the File Path within Comicrack, do you mean on the smartlists on the left panel?

I figured it out. It's in the right click menu when right clicking on selected comic(s) thumnails.
