I'm going to presume you are giving it a few seconds. It loads a listing of every comic in your folder structure. If your collection is mega huge, it might take a sec or two.

Also, I'm presuming you use CBR or CBZ not one of the other types not supported PDF, or CBA, CB7, or CBT.

I am guessing there is a problem with the dll's needed to handle comics. 7z.dll and SevenZipSharp.dll should be in your System32 directory. If not reinstall. You can get these alone from their providers if necessary. Google 'em.

Check the over all operation by using a picture directory to see if pics will come up ok. If pictures come up ok, then it is surely the compression system dll's issue.

Thanks.

Pictures display fine.

Comics do not.

Format is CBR

Both dll's were missing from system32

Reinstalled msi, still no dlls

downloaded SevenZipSharp.dll znd put it in system32

could not find 7z.dll instead downloaded 7z installer msi. This did not place 7z.dll in system32

DO you have a link to 7z.dll ?

I am using windows 7 64bit if that makes any difference. Downloaded the 7z.dll 4bit version!

Comics obviously still do not display but pics are fine.

There also does not seem to be any support for the second monitor.

Any thoughts?

Definitely the issue is that the dll's are missing.

Recomendation:
Head back over to the projects site
and get the latest version, 1.6.7 and see if that fixes issues. I hope your problem is with the way the installer was compiled.

To be honest, I've not tested on a 64 bit OS.

New in 1.6.7
More flexible in settings. No longer in Themes, but in individual settings.
Transitions - Fades, Zooms, and Page turn
Logging enabling in config page
FIXED: Background color mix-up

Ok, you Windows x64 users out there, an x64 version is now posted. I am still back in the stone ages with 32-bit Vista so I've not tested this installer or the application as extensively under those conditions. Please provide any feedback. Thanks.

Hi

Only one main problem with the 64bit version (may not be just the 64 bit version, may be just a general problem)

I have 2 monitors.

When the screensaver exits, often, but not always the second monitor keeps displaying the screensaver whilst the 1st exits normally.

The Screensaver on the second monitor freezes, so nothing new appears on it.

There is an icon for it on the taskbar and you have to close the program to get the saver off the second monitor.

Ity dosent do this every time but I would give a rough estimate of 50% of the time (it happens frequently but not every time)

I have 2 monitors.

Fixed. I think. Try and inform.

Also added feature to choose multiple base folders.

Get it while it's hot!

Hello

I have run it a few times and so far no problems.

Ill let you know in a day or two (it might just be a fluke that it hasn't frozen yet) but right now it does look like you fixed it.

Thanks
