I would like to know the viewpoint of other users regarding the use of the metadata fields for Characters, Teams , ans Locations.

How do you use these fields in ComicRack in a meaningful way?

For example, if I group some books by the Character field, here is what I get:

Pretty useless, isn't it?

Suppose I would like to find all books with Captain America as the Character, it pulls out a lot more books, even in which Cap has a miniscule role, basically all the books where Captain America is mentioned in the list of Characters.

Same goes for Teams, and Locations.

So, how do you use these fields?

Some examples/screenshots and smart lists would be most welcome...

These fields really should parse separately, even if it causes books to show up more than once. This is the same thing you have when sorting by creators, too! Matching on queries works fine for individuals on the list, but you can't stack/group/whatever except by the ENTIRE list. That's wrong. If I stack by character I should see one stack for every character. (If this causes books to show up more than once, so be it.)

Consider this an official feature request.
