I usually sort my comics by making separate smart lists for DC and Marvel and then sorting by published...but I've noticed that comic rack only does month and year which causes the story lines/arcs to get mixed up. (i.e. Deadly Genesis and Rise and Fall of the Shi'Ar Empire). Basically what I'm trying to say is that I'll have like 20 comics from 2008/9 in no order other then that they all came out in September of 2009. I was wondering if there was a way to narrow it down even further and get them even more organized without having to make a smart list for each and every story arc.

Yes.. this is a good query.

I also face this problem that a lot of books in my chronologically arranged lists have the same month and year.

If any user has a suggestion how to improve this (some new functionality/field), please share with us..

If we were looking for another field, we could add something like "day" or "week" to go along with month or year.

That would help in cases where a book is published more than once a month as well as for event crossovers.

Comicvine has a field for date, so I'm assuming that is scrapable as well.

That is true about comicvine having a date field but I've seen quite a comics on there that only have the month and year.

Also (especially in the middle of an event) comics are not always published in chronological order anyway.

A week field that has a drop-down menu with the values 1,2,3,4 and 5 would be the best.
