Hi, I thought I saw a topic about this in the forums but I just can't find it so... Here I am.

The problem is quite simple actually. I have some eComics (rar, zip, cbr, ...) that CR just won't read. I got the big old X in the thumbnail preview and when i try to open them, CR just crashes. So, I unpacked one to make some tests, repacked it, using winrar, in differents formats but nothing helps. I can open the files, nothing is corrupted. CR just won't read them. So, if anyone has an idea... :)

there is a bug in the OEM conversion. I don't know if this will fix the problem, but I try.

If you can't that's not a big deal. I'll just have to do some editing in my eComic files :p

Just a small update. After doing some editing in my files, it turns out that if there is en accentuated character (like : é è à ù etc... and there's lots of them in french believe me :p) in the name of the file (your cbr, cbz, rar, etc...) that's not a problem. BUT if there's at least one in the name of the folder inside that file OR in the name of the images inside, CR just won't read them.

That's what I found out ;)

Strange, because I never have had a problem.
Yes I also read french ones :o)
I have several copies of my french collection in e-comic format (back-up en for travel purpose).
Probably system-language related.

Thought i mention it.
It seems Cyo has already found the :)
