I have been trying to get ComicRack to open for a couple of days now. I always get "ComicRack encountered a problem" here are the details of the latest error

Try to delete the following folder:

C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\cYo\ComicRack\Cache

if you're in windows 7.

Should be the same folder. Its a safe procedure, the cache folder will be recreated on next run.

Still have not gotten ComicRack to open. I love this program, but it is useless right now.

I got it to come up, but the main menu will not display and my library is completely gone. I hit Shift+F10 for the menu, still nothing.

This looks like something went wrong on your machine.
A few things you can try:

1) start comicrack with the commandline option "-ac test". Does it work? Can you add comics? If so backup your library file (ComicDb.xml), uninstall comicrack, delete %APPDATA%\cyp\ComicRack, reinstall and copy over your db.
2) Try comirack on a different machine or virtual machine
