I recently chnaged my setup for my PC, and, because of the screen I am using, set my resolution to 1920 but bumped the font size (in Windows 8) to 150% to make stuff readable.

The result, when opening CR, was less than ideal:

anybody know of a way to solve this?

Yes me.
I would have to fix it in code.

haha, well, straight to the point I guess.. I fìgured it was something that could be fixed in code, but I imagine it would be a big and time-sonsuming thing..

I was wondering if Windows maybe had a setting that would allow certain programs to override the 150% font size.

k, looked into it.

This is indeed a compatibility problem (again) with Windows 8. Microsoft really crapped out on that one. In the earlier days what made Microsoft great, was that you could be sure that an application running on an earlier version of Windows will for sure run fine on the latest and
greatest. Not any longer it seems.

I've found now already two big incompatibilities. MTP mode is implemented slightly differently (leading to an exception in ComicRack) and DPI handling is totally broken.

So, I guess the "One Good OS; one crap OS" trend hasn't been broken after all... I was really reluctant to switch to 8, given all the bad reviews, but decided to try it and I really like it.. shame there are so many problems "under the hood"

Thanks for looking into it, cYo!
