actually it was easier than I imagined.

<<Tags.Not:>> => <<Review.SetValue:{Notes}>> <<Notes.RemoveLeading:Scraped metadata from ComicVine [>> <<Notes.RegexReplace:\].*||>> <<Notes.Add:, >> <<Notes.Add:{Tags}>> <<Tags.SetValue:{Notes}>> <<Notes.SetValue:{Review}>> <<Review.SetValue:>>

and

<<Tags.Is:>> => <<Review.SetValue:{Notes}>> <<Notes.RemoveLeading:Scraped metadata from ComicVine [>> <<Notes.RegexReplace:].*||>> <<Tags.SetValue:{Notes}>> <<Notes.SetValue:{Review}>> <<Review.SetValue:>>

Is there a way to make this work so that it takes the info from Tags, and copies or adds it to the notes section?

I have tried running what you have in the zip file, and it just seems to get stuck and not go anywhere.

Thanks

As far as I am aware there is still a bug with adding list values to fields in Data Manager. Certainly if I try to do it the script hangs.

With DM 2.X:
    <group name="CVDB Cleanup">
      <filtersanddefaults rulesetmode="AND" />
      <ruleset name="mv-cvdb-notes-to-tag" rulesetmode="AND">
        <rule field="Notes" modifier="StartsWith" value="Scraped metadata from ComicVine [" />
        <rule field="Tags" modifier="NotContains" value="CVDB" />
        <action field="Notes" modifier="RegExVarAppend" value="(?<Tags>CVDB[0-9]+)" />
        <action field="Notes" modifier="SetValue" value="" />
      </ruleset>
      <ruleset name="rm-cvdbskip-from-notes" rulesetmode="AND">
        <rule field="Notes" modifier="Contains" value="CVDBSKIP" />
        <action field="Notes" modifier="SetValue" value="" />
      </ruleset>
    </group>

worked for me against 40k books. Lifesaver when I had my db go bad.
