My Comic Rack XML DB is around 150 Megs (75K Files) and Comic Rack has gotten painfully slow. If I move my DB over to SQL Server, will my speed issues be resolved? When you 1st fire up SQL, can someone confirm it does pull all your info from your XML DB in? I would take me months to redo my entire library :)

Thanks for the help!

If set up properly, yes it does pull in all the info from the XML DB. From then on, it will be a longer start time, but much quicker use and shut down times. Also data saved instantly. Less worries about doing monthly backups.

Thank you Fuzzyluzzi for the followup. I ended up installing SQL Server 2014 on my HomeServer and moved my CR DB to it. Works awesome, much quicker navigation in the CR app and closing the app is now instant. Startup time is about the same.
