I bought ComicRack several years ago. I am running Android 8.1 on a Pixel C tablet.

Suddenly, the paid app hangs; it will not finish adding new books to my collection. I removed most of the comics from my device, hoping that would speed it up; but leaving it for several minutes at a time accomplished nothing.

I downloaded the Free version... and it loaded almost instantly. I have updated my system software, as well as uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue, this was from the latest android update on my samsung s9+. The free version works, nothing will get the paid version to load.

Looks like I was not the only one, I'm having the same issue right now. The weird thing is that I was using it just fine 20 minutes ago, no updates or nothing, now it just won't load anymore.

I found out that if I open comicrack from the app drawer or home screen, then open the app from the playstore, it works just fine.
