Hello,

I have gone thorugh many messages in the forum, but there are a few things I yet cannot figure out how to do

1. I understand grouping in Series/Volume is not possible, right? (gee, it would be a good improvement)

2. I read that there is a possible to add sorting, groupping info for lists... how is this done?

3. Tags should be comma or space separated?

Thanks

1. Do you mean grouping by volume/series? Because that is certainly possible.

First, set Group By to Series.
Next, set Sort By to Number.
Lastly, set Sort By to Volume.

You should now see that the volumes and numbers are properly sorted within each series group.

I think the sorting and grouping in lists will work the same way.

I think either way you want to separate Tags will be fine. I prefer comma-separated so that I can use a phrase if I want to in my rules. Did you have a particular purpose in mind?

Almost there! Thanks for the tip :) This helps to, as you say, sort correctly within each series group... it would be just great to be able to have groups (with their arrow that can be collapsed and expanded) for series+volume as header: one group for \"Books of Magic - v1\", other for \"Books of Magic - v2\"...

Regarding tags, I will go for the comma separated, just thought there might be some syntaxis in order. My intended use of them is, as I described elsewhere, to write a script to parse some info from filenames into the tags, things like \"c2c\", \"noads\", \"incomplete\", \"fiche\" and scanners ids...

I'm not quite sure what you want, but what I do is stack on Series, and within a Series I group by Volume and sort on Number
