Hi,

I have updated my comicRack to latest version (0.9125) recently. When I startup CR, a dialogue box appear stated "ComicRack encountered a Problem...". Error detail is shown below. Anybody have same problem?

I'd just suggest uninstalling .NET 4, restarting, then reinstalling and restarting again.
ComicRack didn't start up for me when I first switched over to .NET 4
Everytime you click an ad, a cYo gains its wings.

there seems to be a problem with your TEMP setup. Check the rights for any folders used as temporary folders.

Intel I7 cpu's have hyperthreading on each core, so the system effectively sees 8 cpu's.

@Fain: I tried to uninstall .NET, restart and install it again but the error still there.
@cYo: Can you let me know where is the TEMP setup?
@fK: right, I have been using it since late 2008.

BTW, I installed CR Ver 9.0.120 and it working fine..

open an explorer, type in %temp% in the address bar and hit enter.
right click on the selected entry in the folder tree and select properties
select the security tab, select your user and make sure that you have full control.
Adjust the settings if not. Delete the contents of the temp folder just to be sure.

I tried as your guide. I do have full permission, deleted all content of temp folder and problem still there.

Let me reinstall my PC later and check it again. 0.9120 is fine for the meantime.

I have the Same problem, I had Vista on the Desktop and 0.9125 was working fine as soon as I upgraded (or downgraded thats another story) it gave Me the same ErrorApplication: ComicRack

Had the same problem
First, it didn't start at all, because it still needeed Net 4.0, even if it was installed
Fixed it with Net Framework 4 windows update (+servicepack1 update) and installing the Net4.0 extended verision

after that, it started, but crashed right after with this access denied thing. (win7 x64)
Compatibility mode windows xp sp2 fixed that.
The administrator has disabled public write access.
