I too would love this. This would be something akin to XBMC, but for comic books.

cYo, any news on this or similar developments?

Sometime ago I recall you mentioned some idea on CR "serving" comics so an html interface could be built. I know you have been focused on the android version, and I am afraid (being an iPad user) that this idea has now become obsolete in your mind. Any thoughts?

Thanks

I've also finally decided to buy an iPad too, and not an Android tablet. So, pretty soon you'll not be alone.

ComicRack for Android is overrated; serves only 2 purposes - maintaining ratings & read status. Bascially, you don't need to manage comics on tablets/iPads and similar devices, you are supposed to read them. A basic management is what is required. These days, I use ComicZeal on my iPod, and its comic management is sufficient for my wishes.

I maintain a "Transferred to iPod" smart list on my ComicRack and transfer them in small batches of 10-20. As for read status, I never leave a comic in between (or never leave more than 1 comics at a time), so once I finish a batch of comics on my device, I goto my smart list in ComicRack and mark them all read. Ratings are a problem, I use Evernote for that.

I would love this. It would also be great if the process that handles the library for comicrack could run as a service in windows instead of just an application.

considering the last update to that github repo was November 2013 I wouldn't be surprised if it's broken.

Check out Ubooquity for something a little more up-to-date
