It would be great just to have a client software for Windows/Linux/OSX like Plex Media Server. Personally I am a windows user so it doesn't affect me as much but I save my comics on a homemade freeNAS computer. It would be great to be able to sync and browse comics from my lower power consuming NAS where all my other forms of entertainment are stored without having my Windows computer on.

In short, Plex for comics.

I wish I could donate to support a Linux version of ComicRack. I love the Android app, but feel that the supporting desktop application would be really useful to keep my library organized. I can't get it working through Wine, unfortunately.

I'm afraid linux version will not be available anytime soon as the programming language it is written in has not much support outside Microsoft world.
You may try ACBF Viewer for linux to organize your library -> launchpad.net/acbf

With microsoft .net kind of being "open sourced" can we expect a Linux/Mac OSX version any time soon? (like in a year or so?)

Definitely still interested in a Linux client, and .NET core now functions in a Linux environment.

I will be donating next week and would pay double if Comicrack becomes available for Ubuntu and Fedora Linux. :silly:
