TOPIC: Swipe functionality should mimic Comixology's

Swipe functionality should mimic Comixology's 3 years 7 months ago #38869

Currently, the swipe feature on the ComicRack's android app is too janky. On Comixology I can use my thumb to naturally swipe into the next page like a real comic book. I can move my thumb at any angle as long as it's moving on 90-180 degrees. On ComicRack it feels like I have to move my finger at a long straight line to turn the page. And I don't even know if it works because there's too much lag on the input where I can't see the other page.

Please make the swipe feature more functional.

I feel that too. I did set now the left and right bottom area to just react to a simple press to get to the next page, but sometimes it just goes the wrong way. A more "definitive" swipe/turn over would highly be appreciated.

I never use swipe on my 10" tablet. You basically have to swipe horizontally across the entire screen. I wish it was similar to my Kindle where I can do a quick swype with a finger.

Would love if this feature was improved, or an option to disable it. Currently it's just annoying.
