It would be nice if ComicRack could organize the folders in a similar way that iTunes does. I try to keep my comics organized by series name so that if I need to find them in windows I don't have to spend to much time searching for them. You could have a function in the file menu that when selected would re-organize your file list based on the category you choose. This would be completely voluntary and only happen if you wanted it to. And every time you wanted to update you would need to run it again.

ComicRack as a whole is the closest media program that I have seen to iTunes. That may be why I like it so much.

I am pretty sure what you are requesting can be achieved within a view.
But I have to admit I am not exactly sure what you are asking because despite being an Apple product fan in a household with five i-devices I don't bother with iTunes any more. I find it horribly slow on windows and frankly counter-intuitive.

Bear in mind you can organise a view layout by up to three categories at once using <ctrl> and you can save multiple layouts and access them within the Layout menu.

I am not talking about viewing the comic's inside ComicRack. I am talking about ComicRack organizing your files in Windows Explorer. In iTunes Preferences->Advanced you can choose to keep your media folder organized which puts all your music in folders based on artist then album and video's and movies based on the name of the TV show or movie. I believe this helps speed up iTunes .

When you have too many files in one folder it can cause windows to crash (I know personally as I once put 50,000 images in one folder and I had a bitch of a time re-organizing them). For people who have thousands of comics this would speed ComicRack up considerably.

Are you aware of the Library Organizer script?

Library Organizer is exactly what you are looking for. Look it up in the Scripts area of the forum.
