TOPIC: Uncompressed folders support?

Uncompressed folders support? 8 months 2 weeks ago #46771

Does anyone know if uncompressed folders' images browsing support is on cYo's mind for the ComicRack's not-so-far future? And what about other kind of files, like videos or music? I just love this program -- I wish it could work not only for comics, but for everything :)

Music and Video I use MediaMonkey. E-Books I recommend Calibre.

Thanks for the references, but my point is to have it all in just one program. I guess I'm a utopian...

Still would like to know if cYo has at least the uncompressed folders support in mind, anyway.

The problem with using uncompressed folders as comics, is that it would detect any folder with a file in it as a comic.... That would be quite chaotic...

Maybe you're talking about a part of the program that I don't really use (for now -- I might, in the future): the libraries and metadata and so on. My point refers only (or at least) to the browser, the ACDSEEish part of ComicRack. In this part (again: at least), what you say is also applicable to the zip files, because any zip with an image inside is detected as a comic. So, there's no difference.

Oh, I see, I never use that part of the program really... so I can't give an opinion about that...
