ComicRack 0.9.122 running on Windows 7
I did a quick demo video with my webcam showing off the upcoming multi-touch user interface for ComicRack.Just imagine using this on one of the upcoming touch tablets. Sorry for the bad image quality, but a webcam is only a webcam :)
ComicRack 0.9.121 released
Though mainly a bugfix release, this version adds two new features:
- You can now tell ComicRack to ignore once from the library removed eComics during scans
- Scripts can now define an accompanying configuration script accessible from the Scripts Manager.

ComicRack 0.9.120 released
This is a bug fix release.
Version 0.9.119 has a ugly memory leak when using local sharing. Also the "!" in the search browser is working again. For a full list, as usual, read the detailed change list for the release.
You can comment on this release in the user form.
As a side note, makeuseof.com has done a very nice review of ComicRack.
Year after year, while working on ComicRack, I'm still surprised of the low visibility of this project. The net is still ruled by CDisplay (I think last updated 5 years ago) and Comical (4 years dead). Here's a little google statistic visualizing this phenomenon.
Anyway, as always, hf
ComicRack 0.9.119 released
codename "Sharing on Steroids"
This version can now run multiple servers/shares with different settings.
You can share only to your private network, you can share publicly on the Internet and you can share privately on the Internet. Please keep in mind, that if you share privately on the Internet (meaning only for you), you should still set a password.
As always some bug fixes and enhancements are also in the mix. Tell me your opinion of this release as usual in the forum.
UPDATE: The original upload contained a corrupt German Language Pack. I've fixed it and upped the file again.
I've updated the Wiki with a new page on how to create and define your own WebComics (.cbw). If you create new ones, please make them available in the User Forum.
I've also created stubs for all the context sensitive help pages for ComicRack. If you press F1 in ComicRack, it will open a Wiki Page for this part of the User Interface.
Please contribute to the Wiki.
ComicRack 0.9.118 released
ComicRack goes Internet :)
This release introduces two main new features:
- Sharing your Library across the Internet
Till now you could share your Library in your local home network. With the new announce feature you can make your Library accessable from wherever you are. You can password protect them or make them public for everyone. BTW: It is your responsibility to keep in line with your local copyright laws if you make your library public.
- WebComics XXL
The WebComics format has been extended with scrapers. You can now read Internet Comics from within ComicRack. Head over to the user forum and download some samples from the Web Comics section. I will elaborate more in the future on how it works and the community can provide further WebComics for popular Web Comics.
For a full list check out the change list.
As always have fun and don't forget to comment in the User Forum :)
