Python Scripts for ComicRack

TOPIC: Help for debugging scripts
Help for debugging scripts 4 years, 1 month ago #519

Hello,
I know a little python and was thinking on developing a couple of scripts: - one for moving around the files in your folders based on titles, series, etc... - one for adding tags to the ecomic info based on the file name (like c2c, incomplete, fiche, noads...), and the scanner credits However, I am not used to Ironpython, and I don't know how to debug the scripts I write... does the script engine in Comicrack include some debugging mode where I can, at least access a console for checking what my scripts are doing? Thanks |

See this page How to write ComicRack scripts for some hints and the information you seek.
The link is comicrack.cyolito.com/index.php?option=c...;id=28&Itemid=51 and can be found in the FAQs and Infos section of the website. Look under the MAIN MENU section on the left. |

@Wadegiles: The link you posted doesn't work anymore, is it the page where it is explained how to install a script, or actually more information regarding the api etc?

I edited my post to correct the link and give more information about where the information is located. It gives you a few tips for scripting but no API.

Thanks,
I was hoping it would be a different page with some solution for my import problem but you already helped me there! |
