Python Scripts for ComicRack

TOPIC: Extract all pages in eComic

Here's a little script I wrote to asynchronously extract all the pages of an eComic to a user specified folder. I needed this particular script when dealing with some non-compliant PDFs that ComicRack could display but couldn't convert to CBZs.
To install, extract the zip contents to your ComicRack\Scripts\ folder. Restart ComicRack and select the eComic you want to extract. Right click on the selections and look under Automation for a new entry labelled \"Extract All Pages...\". There will be a little folder icon with a green arrow next to the entry. For each selected eComic, you'll be prompted for a destination folder. If you hit Cancel when prompted for a folder, the operation will not process any additional extractions. However, you cannot cancel eComic extractions for which you have already specified a destination folder. Those extractions will complete. |

I was reviewing this script, and it looks pretty awesome. It got me thinking a step further.
Is there a script around that would remove pages from an eComic? I'm pretty diligent about setting pageType as I'm reading, so it would be pretty interesting to be able to remove Deleted (or Ad) pages, in order to reduce the size of the files. Anything like this around? |

This is built into ComicRack via the Export Function.
The preset Export to CBZ/RAR/7-zip automatically removes pages marked deleted. You can however add other pages to remove. See the page in the manual detailing the export function for more information. |

Ah, awesome. I've never explored the export function, as everything was already in such an archive.
Thanks a bunch. |
