I am trying to create a smartlist that will function as an automatic pull list for my comics that I read monthly. Here is what I came up with to start.

The problem is that I have so many comics that it hangs Comicrack for several minutes while it is searching.

Is there a more elegant solution to this?

Create a folder and put for every series a smartlist in it.
Create a smartlist based on this folder and add the read percentage criteria.
Adding/removing lists from this folder will also effect the pull list without editing anything.

Thanks for this tip, cYo, it's great!

That seems to have done the trick. Good solution. Thanks, cYo.

On a side note: There's a huge performance issue in the current ComicRack Build (.125) concerning complex smart lists.

As I've never used big smart lists (I use a different method - see above), I did not catch it earlier. Running complex smart lists (like the one from the first post) lead to a n^2 performance degradation, meaning with a rather large database each additional smart list criteria will add lots of computation time. I rewrote the stuff now and I'm back at almost n (meaning you can throw huge smart lists at the database without any noticeable slow down).

Fix is in the next release.
