TOPIC: Change Thumbnail
Change Thumbnail 4 years ago #859
|
When I import the comics into my library by folder they don't display the image in the thumbnail I would like them to, since they all have the same "cover". I would like an inside page that is more representative of the comic. Does anyone know how to change that?

It gets some work, but this might be what you want: for each comic, go to "get info..." window (right clicking on the comic) and there to the pages tab and then right clicking on the cover change the page type to whatever you want but "Front Cover", and then change the page type of the first page to "Front Cover".
This works, but has to be done individualy for each comic! |

Thank you, that works! It's going to be a pain for the hundreds of comics I have, but they look good afterwards. Maybe I should suggest a feature for an upcoming version where if you select a comic and hit ctrl+alt+left or ctrl+alt+right it shifts the thumbnail page over by 1 in a direction, or something similar.
Or perhaps even a way to change thumbnail page numbers in the group info editing options! |

I'm pretty sure that could be implemented in the script engine. Ever try your hand at IronPython?

That sounds very interesting. Haven't used the language before but maybe I will give it a shot.
