Everytime I use the comic vine scraper on any of the 2000 AD cbr's I have it renames them all to 2000 AD V1997 #10 - Prog 10 (1977/4). Using the latest version of comic rack and comic vine scraper, any help would be appreciated.

Don't panic,your problem can be easily solved. Here is what you need to do:

Choose a single issue to scrape.

First take a look at the values in the Details tab of the Info dialog.

Tell us what the series and number tab show there (before scraping).

The series field should not be anything more than 2000AD, and the number field should not be incorrect (as in this example):



If already scraped, delete CVDB tags (from the tags field) and all the contents of the Notes field.

Re-scrape

Tell us the result. If correct, repeat above steps for all the 2000AD comics

thanks for the speedy response, yes that did the trick, I had previously tried removing fields in the details pane but didn't think to remove the value for the notes field but now I have it seems to rescrape everything correctly wheras before it wouldn't even open the scraper and just repopulate everything that I had removed. Just tried removing the issue number, tags and notes to a whole batch it seems to work correctly too.
