Yup, that does the trick. Page Count has to be at least 2, though. Setting it to 1 doesn't allow Read/Unread to be set.

Both The Umbrella Academy series had only one issue per batch that had a (of #) value (had not yet ran cYo's count error smartlist). These were pulled.
Halcyon did not, and was not pulled. meh

So, I set things straight with the Umbrella Academy, and all issues have the (of 6) field populated. Same thing with Halcyon, and that was also pulled. (in fairness, I made the mistake of setting the (of #) to 6 instead of 5, and it was not pulled. Setting it to 6 fixed it).

if the above doesn't make sense, I'll try to explain better when it's not 8 am after a sleepless night.

Tried it on my tiny new db, pulled 2 series correctly (The Umbrella Academy) but not Halcyon.
Not sure how the StatsMaxCount syntax works, so won't speculate, just sharing info.

I've only recently come to appreciate DC, always thought they were the "Apple" of Comic books (and don't get me started on Apple) - With the New 52, I've started to get into their publications.

This said, the new logo sucks, big time.

Just wondering if anyone would care (pretty please) to create, if at all possible, a script to pull info for Dylan Dog comics. The only place I've found so far that has complete info is

www.sergiobonellieditore.it

the editor's official website.

Not sure this is even possible, but would be nice to see, so I can finally get rid of that butt-ugly excel sheet that I've been using for the past 15 years.

Due to a recent huge data loss, I've started building a new database. I created some fileless eries, and wanted to mark them as read. I don't have the cbz files and won't be downloading them anytime soon, but still want to keep track of what I've read, etc.

Marking fileless entries as read results in the entries showing up in both "Never Read" and "Read" lists, as well as appearing in the "Files to Update" list.

This, however, does not happen when converting to fileless using Stonepaw's script. Comics converted to fileless retain their read status and don't appear in the "Never Read" list.

I created a fileless series (Chew), scraped it and marked all issues as read. These issues appear in both the "Never Read" and the "Recently Read" lists, as well as any list that has the "Read Percentage" as a parameter, so they appear to be both read and unread.

Good call on the (mis)use with the other metadata fields. I guess it makes it easier to adapt to new behaviours when you're starting from scratch..

PREFACE: a student of mine decided that swiveling on her chair, next to my PC, was a good idea. The USB Cable connecting my hard drive decided to be in the way of her foot, and, well... kaboom... sigh
Long story short, gigs of comics GONE....

Anywho, I try to be optimistic, and see it as the chance (together with 600's new TNT manual) to build a new collection. A BETTER COLLECTION. FOR THE FUTURE (OK, enough of that).

So, my idea is to keep the old database as a reference, and convert all entries to fileless. But, the problem is the whole READ/UNREAD deal.

IT seems marking a fileless entry as read puts it in both read and unread state (limbo?)..

This is something that could become very interesting to get the hang of, especially since I plan on keeping my collection smaller by converting old/not really interesting comics (ShadowHunter, anyone?) into fileless, but still keepeing track of the ones I have read.
Just to clarify, the current behaviour conflicts with the fact that I also use fileless comics as a "remember to fetch this issue" for series that I've just begun.

IF that makes ANY sense, and if anybody wants to chip in, any advice is more than welcome.

FWIW, there was also a Polish translation. They can still be found around the interwebs. Not sure about the Dark Horse volumes, though.
