'Loading Artist'
While only staring in January 2011, 'Loading Artist' is still relatively new to the webcomic scene, but here it is, should you wish to follow along...
Loading Artist
Creator/s :
Gregor Czaykowski
‘Loading Artist’ is a webcomic loosely based on the life of an artist who wants to get better and get noticed. Updated every Monday (usually).

Version 1.1 as I sometimes tend to forget that reference tags are real words too (i.e. 'Next').

'Cheer Up, Emo Kid' ... My fir ...
My first attempt at RegEx for CR using CBW w/XML - OMFG was I rusty!
Anyway, CU,EK is full of profanity, death, destruction ... emo stuff really. It's currently in hiatus while Enzo gets his workload sorted out but there's still 144 strips there for anyone who wants them...
Cheer Up, Emo Kid
Creator/s :
Written and illustrated by Enzo
Cheer Up, Emo Kid is a nonlinear webcomic centered around life, love, and loss there of, and despite how terrible things can get, there’s always room for a laugh or two. The world may be crashing down on you, but I promise you, you aren’t alone.

Re: The First Post...
Thanks Helmic, I was meaning to have a look over there later today to see how it works for CR.
I had to take regex up originally to make editing an encyclopaedia a simpler task. It's still a nightmare!
I've done a few scripts for Woofy 1.1 to keep on the ball though so I'll have a look. It can't be that much different really.

Re: The First Post...
A good choice! I was convinced it was a phone until I looked it up... Very nice indeed; I know what I'm saving up for next!
It's always nice to meet friendly people, my thanks!

Re: Regex help
You could just replace the 'jpg' with (jpg|gif|png|jpeg) which lets the evaluator pick either of the four options as a replacement.

Re: The First Post...
Hey usagent27,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S, which is making my NDSi feel a bit neglected of late. Best phone I've had.
I'd only heard of CR by chance. I was using another (unnamed) reader on my phone till I eventually got ticked off with it losing my place at random times. I'm just glad I found it when I did, very handy for web-comics on the bus!

Select Page, Lock Database...
Hi All,
I'd like to request two features if I may; I haven't noticed them hanging around after a browse through the other posts, and if I've missed them - my apologies!
I have certain apps on my phone which require me to restart my phone after updates, and when I do, all 'current locations' within the comics are lost and I have to calmly flick between each and every page to get back to where I was up to. With a file over 350 pages in length this comes as a big of a chore when you're 100+ pages in.
I was wondering if there was a way to prevent the database of positions from being wiped every time I restart (lock database), or perhaps have a way to jump to the place I was originally if this isn't possible(select page). Perhaps a 'jump 1, 10, or 100 pages forward and back' or simply a list of pages to select from.
I realise that the sync option if there for the PC<>Android version but as my PC comics are still scattered about and in total disarray this isn't an option for me yet, nor soon with 30k+ files to sort out.
Just an idea. Many thanks!

The First Post...
Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Night, depending on your location, or, Hello!
My name is Will, and I read comics, graphic novels, and sometimes, just plain pictures with words on.
I used to use CDisplay, but have since converted to the marvels of ComicRack. I got it for Android first, now I have it on the PC. Why? - So many features! So many used, so many yet to use...
There you go, not much more to add really without it being a mini life story...
I've brushed up on the rules, as you should with any forum, and I'm working my way through the manual at present.
To close, many 'Thanks!' to cYo for both delicious versions I have, the many updates, and of course, having a forum for the feedback. A pre-emptive thanks to 600WPMPO for the welcome!
Kinds regards,
Will
